"The music I prefer is mostly from the twenties and thirties (orq. T. Victor, Canaro, Donato). But as always, it depends who is on the dancefloor. Im Djing in a traditional way with tandas and cortinas. Cortinas gives the chance to cool down and start again with new energy."

DJ at the International Tangofestival Basle, Switzerland. Regular milongas in Basle, Zurich. Marathon St. Anton, Switzerland and Freiburg, Germany.

Horacio Godoy, Buenos Aires, la Viruta. Horacio will put the music on Wednesday 18th and Monday 23rd.

Anastasiya Pomogaeva (Radistka-Kat), Moscow- St.Pete. Nastya will put the music on Thursday 19th.

Yurii Alexeev and Elena Chuvilina, Moscow. They will be DJing on Saturday 21nd.

We have invited very nice, experienced DJs from the most well-known tango destinations in Europe. Come and meet them all at Tango-Cafe! Try the atmosphere they will create for you!

   Friday. Planetango. DJ Benjamin Wand, Germany (Berlin).

 

"I've been DJing in Berlin, Phantastango (a tango-camp) and Halle (my hometown).

As a dancer I enjoy many orchestras but particularly I love Di Sarli (for mutual attention, honesty, precision and to forget all the rest), Biagi (for fun) and milonga (for to show off). As a DJ of cause I want to make most people happy and therefore I will offer a variety of sweet, rhythmical and gripping danceable tangos. Non-tango will only be played if there is a majority who wants it. Did I mention that I love Di Sarli? ;)"

 

Saturday. Ekaterininskiy Sad. Alexandra Kotelnitskaya (Dj Tangess), Ukraine (Lvov).

She always knows what tango to play now. And what cortina should change the atmosphere for the next tanda. All the best tangos from the Golden Age will sound differently with her. She will share her joy and energy with you -  DJ Tangess,  from the most beautiful Ukrainian city L´vov.

In 2008-2010 participated as a DJ at the festivals and milongas in Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, Sweden,  Belgium, Italy and Argentina. She organises her own DJ-festival in L'vov.

 

Sunday. Planetango. DJ Simon Francis (DJ "El Inglés"), Sweden (Malmö).

 

Simon Francis 'El Inglés' is an experienced tango DJ based in Malmö, Sweden. Through his carefully selected tandas he aims to give you 'Happy Feet' making sure you won't want to leave the dance floor. Simon is also the co-organiser of the La Milonga Del Corazón Festival.
