Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes

Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes are outstanding teachers of the very highest level: clear, concise, humorous and always to the point, coupled with a thorough understanding of the students' needs. They developed a view of argentine tango more natural and organic than structural. They've done an outstanding job on the geometry in the dancing couple and developed a strong communication between partners thanks to the leading and all of the energies it utilizes. They lessons focus the emphasis on developing an organic partner connection and musical expression. Sebastian and Mariana are considered today as the main icons for the young generation of tango dancers.

 

Cecilia Berra and Horacio Godoy

Horacio Godoy is amazing dancer, acknowledged teacher and choreographer of tango. Incredible musicality and creativity in his dance charm from the first sight. In his dance Horacio finds the new interpretation for tango salon that he had learned from old maestros of Villa Urquiza style. While playing with the music he keeps his elegance and the density of tango. And his interpretation of milonga amazes even the most experienced dancers. Also Horacio is a perfect organizer and director of different events in the world of tango and theater. And for a long time he manages teaches in the culture centre “La Viruta” where takes place one of the most popular milongas in Buenos Aires.

For the tango festival Milonguero Nights Horacio will come with his partner Cecilia Berra.

 

Mariano Chicho Frumboli and Juana Sepulveda

Mariano Chicho Frumboli has played the main role in the creative evolution of tango in the last 10 years. Thanks to his artistic background Chicho is capable see in tango more than a dance while dancing he creates a unique complicity with the music, that was inspirational for the new generation of tango dancers. Chicho's work has been one of the biggest gifts that an artist could have given to any art form: the continuous acquirement, the research, the quest for originality, and full-hearted creativity.

Juana Sepulveda, is one of the youngest recent born stars in the tango sky, she spans the entire range of expression from an innovative subtlety to a stunning manifestation of power in every movement, always matched by her unswerving musicality and pure sensuality.

Chicho and Juana's classes are a must for those approaching just the Nuevo Tango style, as well as for the experienced dancers.  Chicho teaches with love and talent, combined with a profound understanding of the technique of the dance.

 

Diego “El Pajaro” Riemer and Maria Belen Guiachello

Diego “El Pajaro” is one of the most favorite dancers among Russian tangueros. He started to learn tango with famous old milongueros, and after he continued his career working with different couples all over the world.

Diego’s dance is full of tremendous musicality and play with the rhythm, and he amazes with light way of moving. Also he is one of the best tango teachers who’s classes are very popular all over the world.

Maria Belen Giachello discovered the world of dance at the mere age of eight at the “Escuela Nacional de Teatro de la Plata” and “La Casa del Tango”. She has performed in many tango shows and also at the “Teatro Argentino” with great artists such as Horacio Ferrer, El Sexteto Mayor, etc.

A dancer and teacher well known in the international scene, elegant and sensual when she dances, she’s famed for her pedagogy based on body consciousness, musicality, communication and expression of feelings.

El Pajaro y Belen combine to dance a full-improvised, intensive and refined tango, enriched with approaches from theater and continuous research of new and original movements without losing the classical roots.

 

Claudio Forte and Barbara Carpino

Claudio and Barbara are young couple from Italy who came in the world of argentine tango in 2002. By that time they have already studied classical ballet, contemporary dance and ballroom. Learning on diversity of their background they developed their own style which could be characterized by amazing softness and elegance meeting breathtaking dynamics. While dancing the couple transmits all range of emotions – from tenderness to passion. And of course, anyone who ever saw their performance is amazed by lightness that have Barbara’s legs.

In 2006 Claudio and Barbara took the 4th place ob World Championship of Argentine Tango in Buenos Aires and became the first non-argentine couple who won first of the five places.
Nowadays they run their school in Italy, successfully take part and teach on the festivals all over Europe and in Buenos Aires, and moreover Claudio and Barbara organize their festival in Syracuse that have already become one of the most popular among tangueros worldwide.

Silvina Valz and Oliver Kolker

Silvina Valz is a staggering tango dancer and teacher. She learned tango from such maestros as Gustavo Naveira and Pepito Avellaneda; also during long time she had practiced classic ballet and jazz-modern dance. Her dance amazes with its’ sensuality and impeccably fine movements. And her famous embellishments are fascinating everyone.

Oliver Kolker started to dance tango more than 10 years ago studying it with such teachers as Miguel and Osvaldo Zotto, Carlos Gavito, Carlos Copello, Roberto Herrera, Graciela Gonzalez and Carlos Perez.

Together Silvina and Oliver are teaching tango all over the world – in the festivals and workshops in Europe, Russia and USA. Their classes are always fruitful for the students; as teachers they are looking systematically to the very details and they’re helping their students fill every movement with the sense and music. During Planetango festival the couple will present workshops for couples and also famous classes of women techniques from Silvina.
